"What need has nature of thought or care?
When the sun goes, the moon comes.
Cold and heat alternate.
The past contracts, the future expands.
When you can understand the transformations,
you lift your nature to the level of the miraculous."
--I Ching
Bridge & Enrich believes that change is not only moving from A to B, it’s actually through the back and forth movement to find a middle ground among diversified behaviour and beliefs. That middle ground doesn’t mean compromise, doesn’t result in stuck-ness, nor means rootlessness. That middle ground is a fertile place where one can access to many polarized ends, while being free and ready to activate whichever option corresponds best to the changing situations. To arrive at this fertile middle ground, one must go through a journey of exploring the positive (light) and negative (shadow) side of any beliefs. One must also be open to different opinions and ready to examine one’s own belief how well it is still serving the life goal through situational changes.
In BE’s change management approach, individual and group are never separated. We understand ourselves through understanding our relationships and relatedness to others. We understand the value and culture of a group also through connecting to feelings and thoughts of the individuals. The group can be teams in the professional organisation, it can also be the family unit in private settings. Having clear understanding of one’s roles and exercise one’s full authority is vital for one to be effective and happy in life and contribute to the society. The strong combination of individual coaching, group dynamics intervention, and the situational change awareness ensures BE’s individual and team coaching have transformational effects. The aim is not to be settled with finding solution for a certain issue, but rather working through the issues, improving the ability to live, lead and learn in front of the changes.
